Surprise Snow   Leave a comment

Our first snow was Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2010.  It appears that our last snow of the season will be March 14, 2011.  We woke to several inches of “flurries that won’t stick because the ground is above freezing”.   Not only were people surprised by the snow, they were just plain angry.”I thought we were done with this!”

Our high temperature a few days later broke records.  It was 83* on Thursday, March 17, 2011, Saint Patrick’s Day.

Crazy whether this winter; accumulating snow in November, New Year’s Eve tornado, several incidents of freezing rain.  March came in like a lamb and in a few days will find out if it’s going to go out like a lion.
